چکیده

Abstract This study analyses, by means of lifespan cost and assessment, the production binary concrete admixtures compound artificial pozzolan demolition waste. Ten formulations were developed, differentiating them in terms mixtures, binder aggregate content, order to verify their potential use columns. The replacements 25% Portland cement for fly ash rice husk ash, 15% 30% natural coarse aggregates results revealed that mixtures with waste showed higher resistance chloride penetration. lowest was achieved highest compressive strength (35 MPa) admixture containing replacement recycled substitution can be classified as most environmentally sustainable one, especially carbon dioxide emissions, among studied.

Evaluation of Coal Waste Ash and Rice Husk Ash on Properties of Pervious Concrete Pavement

The use of pervious concrete has been significantly considered in recent years. This consideration is due to the properties of pervious concrete in relating to the environmental sustainability that is utilized in the effective management of the runoff from rainfall. Coal extraction and rice husk obtained from milling, produces wastes that have no application and followed by environmental pollut...

Marine Durability Characteristics of Rice Husk Ash-Modified Reinforced Concrete

This paper addresses the potential use of Rice Husk Ash (RHA) as a cementitious material in concrete mixes. RHA is produced from the burning of rice husk which is a byproduct of rice milling. The ash content is about 18-22% by weight of the rice husks. Research has shown that concrete made with RHA as a partial cement substitute to levels of 10% to 20% by weight of cement has superior performan...

Combine Use of Fly Ash and Rice Husk Ash in Concrete to Improve its Properties (RESEARCH NOTE)

This research paper describes the study of combined effect of Fly Ash (FA) and Rice Husk Ash (RHA) on properties of concrete as partial replacement of Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). These by-products are having high pozzolanic reactivity. In this research, the composition of mix was used with 10% RHA along with 10, 20 and 30% FA as partial replacement of cement. In this study, the compressive ...

Durability of High-performance Concrete with Fly Ash

High-performance concrete (HPC) is usually produced using high quality materials. These high quality constituents drastically increase the initial cost of HPC, hence hindering its more widespread use. Therefore, the main goal of this research project was to produce a low cost enhanced performance concrete or even a low cost HPC, using low quality fly ash and locally available crushed aggregates...

Environmentally-Friendly Dense and Porous Geopolymers Using Fly Ash and Rice Husk Ash as Raw Materials

This paper assesses the feasibility of two industrial wastes, fly ash (FA) and rice husk ash (RHA), as raw materials for the production of geopolymeric pastes. Three typologies of samples were thus produced: (i) halloysite activated with potassium hydroxide and nanosilica, used as the reference sample (HL-S); (ii) halloysite activated with rice husk ash dissolved into KOH solution (HL-R); (iii)...
